CNC Operator/Programmer/Setter – Aberdeen - 18-22K Negotiable DOE
Our new clients, who are based in Aberdeen, are currently looking to recruit several CNC Operator/Programmer/Setters for both temporary and permanent placements.
Our clients require 6 CNC Programmer/Operators, 4 permanent and 2 x 13 week contract with preferably, experience of Fanuc controls, Heidenhain and Mazatrol for an immediate start.
Hours of work - Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm Friday 8am-3.30pm
Overtime is negotiable however candidates must show a willingness to work flexible working pattern to meet company requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following;
Experience of Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazatrol and the ability to think creatively and work on own initiative is essential.
A thorough understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to improve productivity and reduce downtime by setting machines and sharing all knowledge and skills is essential.
5 years experience of working unaided on programming setting and operating a variety of 3, 4 & 5 Axis CNC milling machines ideally including horizontal, vertical and bed type, also extensive programme skills incorporating ISO Heidenhain Fanuc or Haas
Leadership qualities are also desirable and experience of having worked in the sub contract engineering industry would be a distinct advantage. Also show an aptitude for implementing continual improvements to increase machine productivity and ability to participate and contribute enthusiastically and constructively
Ability to demonstrate skills and safely delegate duties to improve productivity whilst maintaining overall responsibility for the quality of the finished component
