HR Advisor

Rate: £ 19.5 to £ 21 K (full-time (per year))
The Sheffield Care Trust, established in April 2003, was one of the first care trusts in the country and the first in South Yorkshire.
The new organisation has brought together health and social services for people with mental health problems and includes the full range of specialist adult and older people’s services, psychology and therapy agencies and specialist learning disability mental health services. Care Trusts are a way of giving patients and social service users what they need - a 'one-stop shop' - that can deal with all of their health and social care needs. Sheffield's new care trust was created to modernise and improve the quality of health and social care services provided to people with mental health needs living in the city. This is an exciting new way of delivering services and further develops the close working relationship that is already in place between the agencies providing mental health services in Sheffield.
Sheffield Care Trust are looking to appoint two HR Advisors to support the HR Business Partners in providing a comprehensive HR service.
You will be part of a HR advice team providing day-to-day HR advice, support and information on all HR issues including grievance, disciplinary, sick absence and terms and conditions to Managers and all staff groups, including doctors and consultants, within the Trust.
You will liaise appropriately with Deputy HR Manager and other colleagues within the HR team on general HR issues, individual cases and projects to ensure the development and implementation of a high quality service providing consistent and timely best practice advice.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
An up to date knowledge of HR legislation
Proven experience in operational HR
Excellent effective organisational skills
An ability to communicate appropriately and effectively
