Our client based in Rotherham is looking for an experienced Internal Technical Sales Person , The ideal candidate must come from a machine tooling background. Experience in sales is also advantageous as the successful candidate with be expected to proactively find new leads and opportunities for our business. An engineering and technical aptitude is also essential as the candidate will be expected to give technical sales support to our customers. Good I.T. skills and an excellent telephone manner are a prerequisite.
The ideal candidate could be a time served engineer or come from a tool room background, experience of CNC machining and materials technology is also extremely important.
The sales side of the position has a wide scope to develop our customer base, although office based you will be expected to generate new leads and proactively sell over the telephone.
The successful candidate will also receive on the job training at our manufacturing plant in Germany. The successful candidate will handle all technical queries that come through the office both internally via sales reps or externally from customers/distributors. It would be advantageous if the candidate could also read and understand engineering drawings.
The salary is based on experience and the band is between £18-20K
Hours are 8.30-5.00pm Monday to Friday
